This rule calculates the duration of the employee’s employment at your company and determines the duration of their leave according to this.

Holiday rules list

By setting the rules of holiday calculation you can establish holiday lump sum entitlement of your employees or specify individual dependencies of calculations in relation to the customary practice in your company. You can set the number of holiday days in a calendar year in the standard way or you can determine the number of days based on the employee's age or based on the length of the employment relation.

How to:

  • click on "Add holiday yearly deposit rule"

  • Name: NAMING / TITLE – we recommend a short, fitting name
  • Description: option of a more detailed description – not required
  • Type of a rule of holiday entitlement: After choosing between a fixed holiday entitlement rule, holiday entitlement based on the employee's age and a rule of holiday entitlement based on the employment relation length another table with condition settings will open.

Fixed rule of holiday entitlement

 It determines a fixed holiday lump sum without any relation to other factors.

Example Employee is entitled to 20 days of holiday per calendar year.

Holiday entitlement based on an employee's age

The basic fixed sum will be modified based on chosen parameters.

Example: The employee is entitled to 20 days of holiday per calendar year if their age is between 18 - 24 years old, 22 days if they are 25 - 19 years old and 25 days if they are 30 years old.

Rule of holiday entitlement based on the employment relation length

Example: After 5 years of an employment relation the employee is entitled to 22 days of holiday. After 10 years of an employment relation they are then entitled to 25 days of holiday.

Individual accounts can be edited or deleted from the displayed list of rules of account balance transfer. In case of their editing any change reflects where the respective rule is assigned. In case of their deletion (not recommended) some already set rules can stop working.
